As the need arises, we participate in other community campaigns, such as disaster relief efforts following the Tsunami which severely hit the shores of Tamil Nadu in December 2004. In the beginning of 2005, RIDE secured and distributed over Rs.7 million (equaling 178,000 USD or 124,000 EURO) worth of medicines and supplies in the affected areas of our region. RIDE has developed a disaster management program to meet the challenges of natural calamities and related emergencies.
