Since 1984, RIDE has been working hard to establish human rights and gender equality, striving for a just society. The central concept behind RIDE’s approach is self-help – that people can not be ‘developed’ but they can develop themselves, if they have access to education, counselling, guidance, resources and opportunities. RIDE’s activities emphasise programs for children, women and the wider rural population.
