Last week RIDE selected 27 of the poorest students, who are supported through LIC life Insurance policy, to receive Education Aid of Rs.600 per child. This money can go towards school clothes, books, pens etc.

Plus, 70 Women from Dalite community got loans of between RS. 25,000 – 30,000, through RIDE efforts. Total money released is Rs.1,200,000 . The money is distributed via bank funds and is subsidised by 50% through the Government of Tamilnadu, therefore the women will only be liable to pay back 50%.
